Shipping Agreement

By submitting a shipment or consolidation request, you agree to the terms below. They protect both you and Norixship and are required for us to handle your goods.

1. Accurate declaration

You are responsible for declaring the true and complete contents, quantity, and value of every item in your shipment. You confirm the information you provide is accurate and not misleading. Under-declaring value or misdescribing contents to avoid duties or restrictions is a breach of this agreement and may be unlawful.

2. Prohibited and dangerous goods

You agree not to ship any prohibited, restricted, illegal, or dangerous goods through Norixship. This includes, without limitation, weapons and explosives, drugs and narcotics, alcohol, pork products, counterfeit goods, currency and precious valuables, live animals and perishables, material contrary to the laws of the destination country, and unauthorised hazardous materials. 3. Your responsibility and indemnity

You accept full responsibility for the goods you ship. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Norixship, its owners, staff, and partners against any fines, penalties, taxes, seizures, legal claims, losses, damage, or injury arising from your goods or from any inaccurate declaration or breach of this agreement — including harm caused to other shipments, property, or persons.

4. Inspection, refusal, and disposal

Norixship may open, inspect, X-ray, hold, refuse, return, or lawfully dispose of any package it reasonably believes contains prohibited, dangerous, or misdeclared goods, without refund and without liability to you. We may report unlawful items to the relevant authorities.

5. Compliance with law

You are responsible for complying with all applicable United States export laws and the customs and import laws of the destination country. Norixship acts as a forwarding agent and does not provide legal or customs advice. Clearance, duties, and taxes at the destination are your responsibility.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Norixship is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our liability for loss of or damage to a shipment is limited to the declared value of the affected items or the amount recoverable from the carrier, whichever is lower. Nothing in this agreement excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You accept this agreement each time you submit a shipment. We record your acceptance, the date, and the version of this agreement against that shipment.

Shipping label terms

These apply to every shipping label you request, in addition to the agreement above. A label is different from our forwarding service: you pack the parcel and hand it to the carrier yourself, so the responsibility for what is inside is yours alone.

L1. You are the shipper

Norixship arranges a prepaid carrier label for you. We never receive, open, see or inspect your parcel. For every purpose — including the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, the ICAO Technical Instructions, US hazardous materials law (49 CFR) and Saudi civil aviation rules — you are the shipper who packs, describes and tenders the parcel to the carrier.

L2. No dangerous goods, batteries or blades

We do not offer labels for dangerous goods of any kind, for anything containing a battery, or for any knife or blade, even where a carrier might accept them under a special contract. The categories below are never accepted on a label. If you need to ship one of them, contact us before buying it so we can tell you whether our forwarding service can handle it.

Never accepted on a label

Perfume & flammables: Perfume, cologne, oud and essential oils, nail polish, alcohol, hand sanitizer, paint, solvents, lighters, matches, fuel
Aerosols & gases: Any spray can (hairspray, deodorant, spray paint), gas cylinders, CO₂ cartridges, dry ice
Anything with a battery: Batteries, power banks, phones, laptops, tablets, smartwatches, earbuds, cameras, drones, vapes and e-cigarettes, electric toothbrushes and shavers, toys with batteries
Knives & blades: All knives (including kitchen knives), razors and razor blades, scissors, multi-tools, box cutters, swords, axes
Weapons: Firearms and parts, ammunition, replica and airsoft guns, tasers, pepper spray, fireworks, explosives
Never accepted by the carrier: Cash and gold bullion, drugs, cannabis and CBD, magnets, counterfeit goods, live animals and plants, pork, anything illegal at the origin or destination

L3. Your declaration and warranty

Each time you send or change a label request you sign a shipper's declaration. By signing you warrant that you packed the parcel yourself; that it contains nothing listed below and nothing prohibited by the carrier or by the law of the origin or destination country; that the contents, quantities and values you declared are true and complete; and that the parcel will contain only what you declared.

L4. Indemnity

If your parcel breaches this declaration, you will indemnify, defend and hold harmless Norixship, its owners, staff, label partners and the carrier against all fines, civil or criminal penalties, carrier surcharges, return, storage, disposal and destruction costs, damage to property, injury to any person, and claims, including reasonable legal fees.

L5. Charges passed on to you

Any surcharge, non-compliance or dangerous-goods fee, re-weigh or re-measure charge, return cost, duty or penalty the carrier or an authority bills to us for your parcel is charged back to you, from your wallet or the payment method you used. We may suspend your account until it is paid.

L6. Refusal, cancellation and reporting

We may refuse a request, cancel or void a label before or after it is issued, and suspend or close your account if we reasonably believe a parcel breaches these terms. We may share your request, your declaration and your account details with the carrier and with the relevant authorities, including civil aviation, transport safety and customs authorities, and cooperate with any investigation.

L7. No refund

A label used for a parcel that breaches these terms is not refunded, and we accept no claim for a parcel the carrier refuses, holds, returns, seizes or destroys because of its contents.

L8. Your electronic signature

Ticking the declaration box and typing your full name is your electronic signature and has the same effect as signing on paper, under the Saudi Electronic Transactions Law and the US ESIGN Act. We keep a permanent record of each signature: the exact text you agreed to and its version, the name you typed, the date and time, your IP address and device, and the contents you declared. The record is kept even if the request or your account is later deleted.
